At MWC 2016, Sony took the wraps off the Xperia X Performance, which retailed for $700 when launched. The high-end smartphone is now on sale over on Amazon and can be yours for exactly $367.09. It normally sells for between $450 and $500, which means you can save around $100 (or 25 percent).
The smartphone is unlocked and comes in Lime Gold, though the other colors aren’t available as part of this deal.
It might be more than a year old, but the Xperia X Performance is still a great smartphone. Especially at this price point. It sports a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset. You’ll find a 23 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture on the back and a selfie snapper that has a 13 MP sensor on the front.
It comes with 3 GB of RAM and offers 32 GB of storage, expandable up to 256 GB with a microSD card. Other notable features are its 2,700 mAh battery, NFC, Android 6.0 Marshmallow (upgradable to Android Nougat), and a fingerprint scanner located on the right side.
To get the Sony Xperia X Performance, visit Amazon’s website by clicking the button below.
The online retail giant claims that there are only eight units left in stock, so you might want to place your order sooner rather than later to secure the discount.
Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are finally here and available now. They’re also pretty expensive. Don’t worry though, as there are countless Galaxy S8 deals to choose from. With that in mind below is a continuously updated list of the best Galaxy S8 deals available right now. From buy one get one free, $100 off, to a free Gear VR 2 headset and more.
Samsung announced both phones on March 29th and made them available for pre-order the following day. All major carriers are offering each, not to mention retailers like Target, Best Buy, Walmart, Sam’s Club and many others. If you’re looking to get the best Galaxy S8 deal or price around we have you covered.
During the first couple of weeks more deals and discounts will be announced. Then we’re expecting to see even more options, bundles, freebies and other discounts. For now though, these are the deals that you can take advantage of today. Best Buy has one of the best deals around, as does Sam’s Club.
After Samsung unveiled their new Galaxy phones in March mobile carriers quickly took action. Enticing customers to upgrade or buy from them with lots of options. From freebies, promotions, discounts and other Galaxy S8 offers.
We’ll start with the main deal for everyone who pre-orders, then continue to breakdown all of the best Galaxy S8 deals as they’re announced. This list will be updated continuously, so check back often.
Galaxy S8 Deals For All
First things first, is the deal that everyone who pre-orders the Galaxy S8 or S8+ can get. Similar to last year Samsung is giving everyone a free Gear VR 2 virtual reality headset with the new motion controller. That’s $129 for the headset and $39 for the controller, absolutely free.
All you need to do is pre-order the Galaxy S8 or S8 between March 30th and April 20th to qualify. We’re expecting many carriers to extend this deal beyond the 20th, we’ll have to wait and see.
Sounds nice right. It’s actually really easy too. Just fill out a few forms and send a picture of your receipt. Just like doing a rebate.
Additionally, for a limited time, buyers can also get Samsung’s new premium over-the-ear headphones by AKG and a 256GB memory card for just $99. Which will ship with your free VR headset. A 256GB micro-SD card alone costs more than $99. So this is a pretty good bundle. The AKG headphones are over the ear, not the free in-ear buds that come in the Galaxy S8 box.
One more thing, those who pre-order and use Samsung Pay will instantly be eligible for platinum status with the Samsung Rewards program.
Best Buy Galaxy S8 Deals
Perhaps the best deal we’ve seen yet is directly from Best Buy. They’re going all-in for the Galaxy S8. Those who opt to buy one in their stores will be heavily rewarded. Best Buy will be giving out some additional Gear VR Oculus certified content on top of the headset from Samsung, worth a total of $279. A bunch of games and apps.
However, the best part is the instant savings. Order the Galaxy S8 from Best Buy and get $50 off, or $100 off the Galaxy S8+. This is layered on top of deals from Samsung, or anything specific from individual carriers. Search around enough, and you could end up with a pretty sweet list of savings. It looks like those savings are off the monthly payments. So it’s a small difference, but will still save you up to $100.
Verizon Galaxy S8 Deals
The phone is just arriving for most but Verizon is teasing a pretty good deal. Basically 50% off with a trade in. Getting the latest Galaxy from Verizon will cost $720 or $840 outright, but of course they have payment plans. Or you can do the deal below.
However, if you trade in an eligible smartphone that’s less than 2-years old and sign up for a new Verizon unlimited plan, the cost is severely discounted.
With a qualifying trade in and installment agreement plan the Galaxy S8 will be $15 per month for 24 months, which is $360 total. Basically half off. Then, the same deal applies to the S8+ but payments will be $20 a month for 24 months which is $480 total. Instead of paying around $720 or $840 after two years of monthly payments.
Additionally, all Verizon customers can get the free Gear VR 2 headset and the extra $99 bundle from Samsung.
Sam’s Club Deals
Like Costco, Sam’s Club is getting in on the Galaxy craze too. The retail superstore has some pretty good savings, including all activation fees waived completely. Click here for more details.
Buy a Galaxy S8 or S8+ from Sam’s Club on AT&T, Verizon or Sprint and get a free $150 gift card. In addition to the free Gear VR from Samsung. Of course. Even the US Cellular version at Sam’s has special pricing and another gift card option. To get these deals and no activation fee buy one before April 23rd.
AT&T Galaxy S8 Deals
As expected AT&T has some deals including buy one get one free. Although the freebie has some strings attached. Not to mention big savings on other Samsung products offered by them in select stores. Here’s the full rundown of AT&T’s options.
- Up to $750 in credits towards another Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+
- A Samsung Gear VR included, along with a controller powered by Oculus and an Oculus content bundle
- A Samsung Gear S3 for only $49 with a 2-year service agreement
- And, for only 99-cents, you can get a Samsung Tab E and/or a Samsung Gear S2 when you activate 2-year service agreements
Basically you can get two Galaxy S8 or S8+ phones for the price of one. AT&T won’t just give you the second one, but instead add $750 worth of credit to your bill in small monthly payments. Making the S8+ essentially $100 for a second person, or the regular Galaxy S8 completely free. You’ll need to buy one with AT&T Next AND be a DirecTV subscriber, which makes this deal limited to select few. If you have Sprint, they’re offering two for one also.
Of course they have the free Gear VR too, and are offering some decent incentives on the Gear S3 or Gear S2 smartwatches. Although both of those watches require a data plan, which is an extra $10 a month. More details can be found here.
Walmart S8 Deals
Your neighborhood Walmart has some excellent savings as well, like usual. In fact, they are offering the lowest prices we’ve seen yet for the Galaxy S8, in addition to another $150 off for those who sign a contract.
Head to Walmart and get either phone at a great price. The regular Galaxy S8 is only $659, and the bigger Galaxy S8+ rings up at $759. As a comparison most carriers have the S8+ for $840. Installment agreements for Verizon, AT&T or Sprint get another $150 off. T-Mobile is not included in this deal.
We saw reports that Target would have some big savings, but they’ve yet to be announced.
T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Deals
As of right now the only deal from T-Mobile is the same one from everyone. Which is the free Gear VR 2 headset and motion controller. No other discounts or savings have been announced at this time.
That being said, expect T-Mobile to give buyers the option of a free year of Netflix, or a subscription to MLB.tv for free, or something similar. That’s an option for the Galaxy S7, so it only makes sense to extend it to the new Galaxy S8.
Sprint Galaxy Forever Deal & BOGO
Sprint is offering a buy one get one free for the GS8 also, just like AT&T. Although there’s is easier to get but does have some strings attached. This is only available for the Galaxy S8, and not the bigger S8+. Basically you’ll get two while only paying one monthly fee around $31. The second one will be billed but every month Sprint will add $32 to your account — making it free. Make sure you read the fine print though, as you don’t own the phone. After 12 months they’ll likely try to get freebie phones back and let you trade to something newer. Which could be nice.
Similar to the iPhone Forever promotion, Sprint returned this option in 2017 for Galaxy S8 buyers. Essentially how it works is you get the Galaxy S8 and make monthly payments like any other carrier or smartphone purchase. However, after just 12 payments (so 1-year) you’ll be instantly eligible to swap it for a new Galaxy next year. Say, for the Galaxy S9.
Additionally Sprint will wave activation fees for those who pre-order, and sign buyers up for a chance to win a huge 65-inch Samsung HDTV and entertainment system. That’s just a drawing, but you’ll be entered just for buying the Galaxy S8.
So far it looks like hands-down the best deal is trading in an old phone at Verizon. Or picking up a new Galaxy from Best Buy and getting some instant savings. Walmart is good too. The buy one get one deals come with strings attached, but are worth consideration. Over the next few months we expect more and more deals and savings for those who decide to wait a bit.
Be sure to check back periodically, as we will add each new deal as they’re announced. In the meantime, learn more about these phone at our Galaxy S8 Portal.
Fans await the Samsung Galaxy S8 as companies all over the world get ready for tomorrow’s triumphant launch. It is all but guaranteed to be one of the year’s best sellers. It is also guaranteed to not be cheap, though, which means finding the right deals is a must if you need to keep your wallet healthy.
Those looking to get a couple Samsung Galaxy S8 handsets might find going with Sprint could be the best bet. The carrier is offering a BOGO deal in which users can get two devices for the price of one (with a new line activation). This means one can lease two Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphones for $31.25 a month.
You can also make sure you stay up-to-date with the latest tech trends by signing up for Galaxy Forever, making it possible to upgrade to the latest Galaxy handset any time after 12 lease payments.
This offer is available for both new and existing customers from April 21st to April 27th, which means taking advantage of the deal will require quick action. Are you signing up? Sprint may not have the best network, but it is pretty reliable in most major markets and they do offer a great value. The unlimited plan starts at $50 for a single line.
