Google Translate is seeing an update in the Google Play Store and for the lucky few running Android 6.0 Marshmallow — you’re in for a real treat. Gone are the days of having to copy/paste text directly into the app to get a translation. Now, the app can now work its magic directly from inside other applications. Simply highlight text from inside the app and watch as the translation is displayed in a handy pop-up window.

The only time this wont work is if the developer implemented their own custom text selection behavior. If that’s the case, it’ll be up to the dev to use the standard one which can be easily added along with instructions here.  For all those running Android 6.0 Marshmallow on their devices, you can grab the updated Google Translate app from the Play Store right now.
