Learn how to upload photos from your camera roll to Snapchat on the iPhone or iPad. We’ll also show you how to upload video from your camera roll to Snapchat.

This makes it easy to share photos and videos you took earlier, or that you took with a different camera to Snapchat.

If you want to send a photo that you already took to someone in chat on Snapchat, you don’t need to buy a third-party app or download one that uses in-app purchases for uploads. This is built-in to Snapchat if you know where to look.

You will need the photo in your iPhone photo library and you will need to grant permissions for Snapchat to use your photos if it doesn’t already have access. This works on iOS 10, iOS 11 and iOS 12.

In the first scenario you are in a Snapchat chat with someone and you want to send them a photo right from the chat that you are already in.

  1. Open the Chat
  2. Tap on the small photo icon in the lower left
  3. Tap on Camera Roll
  4. Tap on a Photo
  5. Tap on the Pencil to edit
  6. Tap on the arrow to send.

You may need to grant access to your photos if you haven’t already done so. This process also works with videos.

You can also do this from inside your Photos app.

Open the Photos app and find the photo you want to share. Tap on the photo and then on the Share icon at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to the right on the row of icons and tap on More. Toggle Snapchat On and if you want to, move it higher on the list. You only need to do this once.

Going forward you can just tap on the Snapchat icon and it will open up to Snapchat. From here you can add text, stickers or doodles to your photo. Now tap on the arrow in the bottom right and choose who to send it to.

11 Best Apps to Waste Time

Baseball Boy

Baseball Boy is a great time waster game because it only takes a few seconds to play one turn, so you can use it e en when you only have a minute or two to wait in line.

This is a timing game. You tap to swing the bat when it is lined up in the center of the arc to get a perfect hit. Each hit earns you points that you can spend towards strength, speed, bounciness and offline earnings.

I love that I can keep coming back to this game when I have a few minutes to kill and after a few turns I can increase my stats and go a little further the next time. There's a little strategy to it, but for the most part it's a great little distracting game.
