There are a lot of exciting accessories for any device, but Moto Mods really transform your smartphone experience. Some of the latest mods include a gamepad, 360-degree camera or a Polaroid printer.
Whether you’ve had the Moto Z for a year or just got the Moto Z2 Play or Z2 Force, you’ll want some Mods. To improve battery life or just extend functionality so you can do more with your phone.
Additionally, Motorola made every device in the Moto Z family compatible with these Mods too. This means every one of them fits any Moto Z phone. Furthermore, Motorola confirmed these will work for three generations of smartphones. Basically, the Moto Z3 in 2018 should still work with any Mod you buy. It’s an investment for the long haul, not just a one-off accessory for buyers.
The JBL Soundboost speaker Mod is $79.99, which is fairly reasonable given it extends battery life and adds tons of sound, along with a kickstand. Then, of course, the projector is more expensive at $299. And finally, we have power packs to extend battery life that range from $59 to $79. Some even support wireless charging. Our favorite attachment is the new Polaroid Moto Mod. Snap, shoot, print and shake. It adds a dedicated camera shutter button and prints photos right as you take them. It’s basically a mini printer on the back of your phone.
