Continuing its rebranding push, Lenovo has launched the successor to the A6000 in India, the Vibe K5. The phone retails for ₹6,999, and brings Dolby Atmos — a feature that made its debut on the mid-range Vibe X3 — to the budget segment through two stereo speakers.
The Vibe K5 will be sold in gold, silver, and grey color variants, and joins the Vibe K5 Plus in rounding off Lenovo's offerings in this segment. The phone sports a 5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 415 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, microSD slot, 13MP camera, 5MP front camera, and a 2750mAh battery. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Lenovo has commenced registrations of the Vibe K5 on Amazon India, and the phone will be up for purchasing starting June 22.
