Pokémon Go Celebrate the Equinox event

With fall nearing in the Northern Hemisphere and spring getting close in the Southern Hemisphere, the developers of Pokémon Go have decided to celebrate with an in-game event.

Pokémon Go’s Celebrate the Equinox! event will offer double Stardust for catching Pokémon and hatching eggs, and you can collect special 2km Eggs from PokéStops and Gyms that have the opportunity to hatch Pokémon like Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar, and more. You’ll also be able to get special boxes from the in-game shop that’ll include Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules, and Super Incubators that’ll hatch Eggs 1.5x faster.

Another perk of this event is that you’ll be able to get triple XP when you register a new Pokémon to your Pokédex.

This Pokémon Go event will kick off at 1:00 pm PDT on September 22nd and will run through 1:00 pm PDT on October 2nd.
