Around back, there’s a 12-megapixel camera which features phase detection autofocus, and around front there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The Idol 5 also has dual front-facing speakers, an FM radio, a USB Type-C port, and the battery measures in at 2850mAh.

There’s also a Now key on the side of the Idol 5 which can be used to launch any app the owner wants, granting quick access to their favorite app.

Also launching on October 27 is the Alcatel UNI360 VR goggles, which are optimized for use with the Idol 5 but will also work with other smartphones that have displays up to six inches. Cricket will sell the Alcatel UNI360 VR goggles for $49.99.
