Twitter app Flamingo taken off Play Store as it runs out of tokens

Twitter’s token issue is something that we haven’t talked about in a while. Despite it not being a hot topic, Twitter’s user hostile policies are still a problem. Now the policy has taken another app from us.

The third-party Twitter client Flamingo has now been unpublished from the Play Store because it has nearly reached Twitter’s token limit. If it had, then people would have purchased the app and not been able to use it.

Unfortunately, this also means that the app will no longer get any major updates. This is the death of yet another Twitter app. If you’ve purchased it, you can still download it, but don’t expect to see any serious support from the developer.
