Best Android Phones Under $300 (2018) is a post by Cory Gunther from Gotta Be Mobile.

These are the best Android phones under $300 worth buying in 2018 and into 2019. Lately, smartphones are getting more and more expensive. If you don’t have $800-$1,000 to spend on the latest Pixel 3 or Galaxy Note 9, try one of these instead. Below we’ve round-up some budget Android phones that don’t cost an arm and a leg.

Buyers no longer want to pay top dollar or sign a new 2-year contract. Instead, they’re looking for great phones that are affordable. And lately, manufacturers have focused on delivering exactly that.

If you’re like millions of customers looking for a cheaper route, or simply don’t need to spend top dollar, These are the phones to consider. The phones we recommend deliver nearly the same experience as more expensive devices but at a lower price.

Be careful though, as cheap Android phones sold through carriers typically offer the bare minimum specs. They’re missing key features or have older and outdated software. Another way to cut costs on a smartphone is the display. Most budget phones have very poor screens or low resolution. Those are the phones you want to avoid, and what we avoid in our roundup.

Our suggestions all cost under $300 but are still good enough to recommend. No, you won’t get a curved display like the Galaxy S9+, but you can come close. Including a pre-owned Galaxy S8 for only $299. Basically, these phones are a lot better than you’d expect and still deliver a great experience.

Moto G6

Moto G6

While there are several great Android phones for under $300, in our opinion the Moto G6 is still your best yet. It's a great all-around phone with almost no compromises. Plus, it's only $250.

The Moto G6 has a big 5.7-inch HD display that looks great. Then, the phone has this brushed metal look, even if it's made from plastic. It looks like a Galaxy S9 on the back, except for that big round camera lens. You're getting a decent 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3-4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage and a quality 12MP camera. No, it can't take photos like an iPhone X or Pixel 3, but it's close. For the price, this phone is hard to beat.
