The Life is Strange Twitter account has announced that Life is Strange: Before the Storm is coming to Android Sept. 19.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm was first released for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One back in 2017. It has three episodes and acts as a prequel to the events of the original Life is Strange game. Deck Nine Games, the company that developed the game for PC and console, has also developed the Android version.

This time around, the story follows the relationship between teenagers Chloe Price and Rachel Amber — both of whom were featured in the original game. Much like the original, the prequel places a strong emphasis on plot, although, the ability to time-travel has been removed. Instead, the new Backtalk feature lets players choose in-game dialogue to change how sections of the game play out.
The first Life is Strange was released in 2015 and finally made the jump to Android in July this year. Fans of the game will no doubt be happy that they didn’t have to wait quite so long for the second edition of the series.
In our review, Oliver Cragg found that Life is Strange made the jump to Android well, with the episodic structure being well suited to gaming on-the-go.
There is currently no information about how much the upcoming game will cost, although the original was $8.99 for the whole thing or $4.99 for individual episodes. There was also the option to play the first part of the game for free. If you can’t wait for the prequel, then click the link below to download the original on the Play Store.
