When it comes to choosing your next smartphone there are plenty of choices in 2018. And with the upcoming OnePlus 6T your decision will be even more difficult. Here, we’ll talk about the OnePlus 6T, share everything we know, then compare it to the older OnePlus 6.

If you’re hunting for your next smartphone the Galaxy Note 9 or Pixel 3 is likely near the top of your list. They’re also really expensive. That’s why the OnePlus 6T is such an exciting alternative.

OnePlus 6T leaks reveal a phone with specs and a design many didn’t expect to see until 2019. A phone that’ll take on Samsung, Apple, Google even the OnePlus 6 all at the same time. Here we’ll go over the rumored specs, screen sizes, cameras, release date details and potential pricing for those interested.

There are plenty of excellent Android smartphones available right now. If you can’t wait, get the impressive OnePlus 6 right now for $529. It’s comparable to a Galaxy S9+ for hundreds of dollars less. If you can wait, multiple high-end phones are still coming before the end of 2018.

We’re talking about the Google Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL. Not to mention the LG V40, OnePlus 6T, and maybe the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Personally, the OnePlus 6T is the most exciting phone of the year. Not to mention we’re hearing it’ll be available from T-Mobile this year, in stores. Giving the company even more room to take on the competition.

The OnePlus 6 from earlier this year is still a very capable phone. It has everything one would want, but the OnePlus 6T will potentially have most of that and so much more. If you’re debating getting one of these phones our slideshow breaks down all the differences.

OnePlus 6 vs 6T: Display

OnePlus 6 vs 6T: Display

First things first, we need to talk about the screen on these phones.

The OnePlus 6 has a big 6.28-inch HD AMOLED display with a small notch. Slightly smaller than the iPhone X notch. It looks good, has vibrant colors, and is the biggest screen they've ever released.

As for the OnePlus 6T, recent leaks suggest it'll have a TINY notch. Smaller than any other phone, and smaller than the 6. Something we're calling a water-drop notch. Essentially the notch is as small as technically possible to only house the front-facing camera.

Sensors, microphones, and the speaker will be in the metal grill above the screen. The OnePlus 6T will end up around 6.4-inches. Basically the same size, or about the same size. If you hate the notch though, the OnePlus 6T notch is so small you'll barely notice it, and it shouldn't be enough to offend anyone.
