After the initial announcement back in June, Xiaomi has been releasing MIUI 10 for a lot of their devices including the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6, Xiaomi Note 5, Xiaomi Mi 8/EE, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Xiaomi Mi 6X, and more. MIUI 10 includes features like full-screen gestures for controlling the device, revamped user interface including a new recent apps interface, volume panel, notifications, and more. Now, MIUI 10 Global Stable for the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is available.
MIUI 10 is not totally new for this particular device. The Global Beta version was released more than a month ago. Then, a few weeks later, a China Stable version rolled out. The China stable version does not include Google Play Services and only offers Mandarin and English languages, so many people may stay away from it. The version that was released today, the Global Stable, includes a lot more language options and Google Play Services built-in, so it’s the go-to MIUI ROM for many.
You can download the recovery ROM zip of the MIUI 10 Global Stable update for the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 below. Be warned that it’s not a good idea to attempt to flash this ROM on a Chinese-manufactured Mi Max 3 with a locked bootloader. Thus, we recommend you have an unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed to flash the update if you don’t already own the Global version of the device. Note that while the update itself doesn’t require wiping the device, unlocking the bootloader does. So, make sure to back-up your important data before you unlock it.
